Gravenhurst Opera House
The stunning Gravenhurst Opera House is situated in the heart of downtown Gravenhurst; the Gateway to Muskoka. Featuring arts & cultural programming year-round, this historic gem is credited for having been home to the birth of summer theatre in Ontario.
Hardy Lake Trails
You will find the Hardy Lake trails in Hardy Lake Provincial Park just off of Hwy 169 east of Torrance. There is a lovely 3km trail that traverses rocky outcrops, natural shoreline and forested areas. The 8km trail circles the lake with magnificent views of untouched shoreline. The trail travels over shoreline, wetlands and forested areas and requires some moderate navigation skills. A seven kilometre trail on the South East side of the park traverses through forest and over wetlands to the shore of Lake Muskoka providing splendid views of one of the ‘big lakes’.
Peter’s Players
Peter Swanek opened up Peter’s Place theatre in April 2008 with international music icons James Cotton, Johnny Winter, Robben Ford, Omar and the Howlers, John Mayall, Tab Benoit, Les Dudek and many more. A promoter of over 300 concert/club dates since 2000, Peter’s Players has provided musical entertainment to over 20 venues. Peter’s Players presents every show with the music at the forefront, the way it should be.
Gravenhurst Farmers’ Market
Established in 1992 in the heart of Ontario’s scenic cottage country, the Gravenhurst Farmers’ Market has become one of the region’s most popular attractions. As many as 80,000 local residents, cottagers, and tourists frequent the market annually to partake in a broad array of fresh Ontario produce, arts and crafts, and special events.

Bracebridge Farmers Market
The Market runs each Saturday, 8:30 to 1pm from the Victoria Day long weekend in May, until the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. Come and visit all the vendors in beautiful downtown Bracebridge. Located in Memorial Park on Manitoba Street, next to the Norwood Theatre you can enjoy delicious local eats, visit with local artists and enjoy a large selection of fresh local produce!
Bala Cranberry Festival
Always the weekend after Thanksgiving, over 500,000 visitors have come to Bala, the Cranberry Capital of Ontario, to celebrate the Bala Cranberry Festival. One of Ontario’s premier arts and crafts shows with hundreds of exceptional vendors. An entertaining festival with a fall fair’ atmosphere including Live music, entertainers/performers and attractions all weekend long. Great for adults! Dockside Festival of the Arts
Always the Third Weekend in August, you can enjoy the festival and everything it has to offer! Celebrating its 27th anniversary in 2018. The festival draws visitors and seasonal residents to the shores of Lake Muskoka to enjoy music, culinary treats and handmade arts and crafts.
